Quality Control

 

Tamlite Lighting believes in Quality. We are focused on building our brand and reputation with a foundation of quality products, passionate people and top notch services. We are proud of our products and we are excited to watch the continued growth and development of our people. A key component that we use to achieve our quality and development goals is our Quality Control Division.
 

Quality Control and Testing is paramount to developing an excellent product range. Tamlite Lighting has committed itself to setting up processes that ensure our products are of the highest quality and are defect free.  The Quality control department continues to expand its tooling and test equipment to ensure our products are the very best and held to the highest possible standards.  Currently we have a comprehensive testing and inspection program in place for:

  • Raw materials prior to entering the manufacturing process
  • Critical Control Points throughout the manufacturing process
  • Finished products before being sent to customers
  • Testing and inspecting sourced product prior to purchase
  • Batch testing on all sourced product
  • Testing and verification of new products being developed

 

Through our team, Tamlite has achieved an expertise in the laws and regulations that govern how our products function and perform in their various applications.  Expanding on that expertise and becoming better is our main focus and goal for this division. To that end we have recently purchased several new test items:
  • Glow wire tester
  • Flame Testing Chamber
  • Aging Oven

 

These will allow us to test the qualities of our plastic based products and ensure their structural quality.

In the near future we will be buying equipment that will allow us to test our own photometrics and water ingress testing.

The goal is to provide our customers with a solid tool of expertise to fall back on when they have technical questions, not only about our own product, but on any lighting product they may have an issue with.
