Description:
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless, and deadly gas. Just because
you can’t see, taste or smell it, carbon monoxide can kill you before
you know it’s there. Energy efficient, air tight homes contribute
to the problem by trapping CO polluted air inside the home.
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends that a CO detector
should be centrally located outside of each separate sleeping area in
the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms. For added protection, install
additional CO alarms in each separate bedroom and on every level of your
home.
